TCH gets 3rd in VSC!

Our group of friends decided to participate in the Victoria Soccer Challenge (VSC) 2009. True to our tradition, the core of more or less the same players that have been participating in yearly futsal/football competitions organized by NUS and NTU are now taking part in a tournament organized by the Victorian family.

This time around for VSC, the tournament format is for a 6-a-side game, with 10 registered players, of which 8 must be Victorians with 2 guest players. So the same jin gang of Zulhairi, Yusri, Adam, Aizat Tong and myself have teamed up with Faisal, Vikas and his brother Prakash, with regular footballing kakis Wancin (Springfield Sec) and Umar (Damai Sec) our two guest players under the team name "Team Cockup Habis (TCH)".

Fortunately, our team name didn't reflect our performances on the pitch, for we got 3rd! And in case anyone's wondering why am I the only one in BRIGHT LUMINOUS GREEN, its because I reverted back to the position I played when I first picked up football as a kid, that is the goalkeeper! We ended up group champions, and I kept a clean sheet in all 4 games plus the quarter-finals, and in fact the only time I conceded any was during our semi-final game, which we lost 3-0. All the goals I conceded HAD to come in one poor game eh -_-'" Cock-up Habis. The 3rd and 4th placing game was decided on penalty shoot-outs after which we won 4-2 after I managed to save one shot and the opponent hit the bar with the other.
