Match report from Captain:
A purely excellent open game for TKH.
TKH was down to 10 men even b4 the whistle was blown. Late withdrawals from ahmad, tanker and shahril left TKH dry and almost out. Seeing opponents walking in with blond hair and superior buikt send shivers down our spine.
Planning to play Hikam in goal, I had to abort and go with Aizad. Hikam would have punch air all the time! With my gameplan gone into the air, I placed Farhan and hafiz as ctr-backs, hopefully their understanding at work bodes well for the team.
Game started with us conceding an early headed goal. Heads up! We equalised son after, me lobbing into an open goal after a gk booboo. We then increased our lead and started to play brilliant soccer. Opponents turned into monkeys and we were ona high! Only a late equalizer a minute b4 the half dampenend our spirits.
..continued: 2nd half beckoned and again the opponents got their early goal. Defensive errors from us caused us to concede another 4 goals, but b4 that, we worked hard to level the score at 4-4.
I told Tony to end the game early coz at 4-6, we already had nothing to play for. At one moment of time, we only had 8 players on the pitch with hafiz in the toilet for a long quickie and Halim down with cramps.
The players could hold thir heads high. Opponents held rhigh regard of us. We were simply superb:encouraging , supporting each other throughout the game.
Special mention to Farhan who had a superb debut marshalling the defence and Pelik, despite his ankle injury played the whole game. Final score 4-6. I can only think of next week....
